- Connecting with a local and global networkAt Infinity Lodge No. 546 our mission is to make good men better by facilitating personal growth through education, mentorship, leadership, service and social development. Look around our website and you will find information about our history, purpose, educational programs, character development and charity.
In today’s society, men lead busier lives than ever. Many brothers find Lodge meetings to be an excellent “break from life,” where everyday troubles can be forgotten, and brotherhood prevails. Freemasonry encourages it’s members to think and expand their mind, but it does not tell them what to think. It also teaches tolerance of others’ beliefs and opinions and to regard each man as their equal, deserving of their respect.
Our brotherhood leads to lifelong friendships, it offers the opportunity to serve others, it opens our minds and encourages us to become "thinkers." It is no coincidence that major figures and great men have been initiated into our fraternity for hundreds of years.

“To Be One, Ask One!” The first step is to talk to a man you know who is a Freemason. Any Freemason will be happy to help get you started in the process of petitioning a Lodge.
Our historic tradition is to wait for you to seek membership entirely of your own free will and accord. But this doesn’t mean that you have to wait until you know someone who is a mason. Your interest is enough, if you meet the qualifications.
If you don’t know any Freemasons, then contact our lodge via email or come to one of our upcoming social events so you can get to know our members to see if it’s the right fit. -
After your petition for membership has been signed by two members and submitted, your petition will be read at our subsequent stated meeting. At that time a Committee of Inquiry (consisting of three members) will reach out to you to coordinate a home visit. Their job is to verify that you meet the necessary qualifications for membership and to help answer any other questions you or your family may have about our fraternity. We encourage your loved ones to attend this meeting and ask questions, if they are interested.
Following a favorable committee report, your petition will be voted on at a subsequent stated meeting of the Lodge and, if vote is favorable, you will begin your journey through the three degrees of Freemasonry: Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, and Master Mason. You will receive written notice and likely a phone call pairing you with a mentor to begin the preparation for your journey. -
New members progress through three degrees of Freemasonry, culminating with the Master Mason degree. Each degree involves a ceremony where the moral and ethical teachings of Masonry are expressed and illustrated. One of the most rewarding parts of becoming a Mason is receiving your degrees—and supporting others as they get theirs.
There are three degrees, each containing unique life lessons.
First degree: Entered Apprentice
Second degree: Fellow Craft
Third degree: Master MasonDegrees are the steps of our initiatory system and are meant to explore ethical and philosophical issues on the path from lower to higher conditions of knowledge. The degrees are solemn, enlightening, and enjoyable experiences. It will take a masonic month to progress through each of the degrees and there is a little memory work associated that you will work on with your assigned mentor. These ceremonies aren’t open to the public; they are for members only.
-
Once you have successfully become a Master Mason, a man is free to follow his own path in the craft and is entitled to the benefits of full membership. You will be part of a worldwide network of quality men who go out of their way to support one another, as well as their friends and families, through both life’s challenges and achievements. Additionally, you will experience personal growth in the many unique opportunities to use your talents and resources to impact the lives of others and make the world a better place.
