EMT Certification Scholarship Created

In Loving Memory of Nick Theofilis

In honor of our esteemed friend and Masonic brother, Nick Thoefilis, who tragically lost his life while serving in the line of duty, we are establishing a scholarship dedicated to supporting individuals pursuing their Emergency Medical Services (EMS) certification.

Nick, at the young age of 23, embodied the selfless nature of a true hero. As a dedicated volunteer firefighter in both Penn Hills and Churchill, and a compassionate paramedic at Penn Hills' EMS Division, he touched the lives of countless individuals within his community and beyond. Nick's unwavering commitment to helping others extended beyond his professional duties, as he was an advocate for organ and blood donation. This scholarship aims to commemorate Nick's legacy by providing financial assistance to deserving individuals seeking to enter the noble field of emergency medical services. It serves as a testament to his remarkable character, unwavering dedication, and profound impact on the lives of those he encountered.
