Lodge Helps Bring Smiles for Special Needs Children

On Wednesday night at our stated meeting we had a very entertaining presentation from the Pittsburgh chapter of the Mystic Order of Veiled Prophets of the Enchanted Realm (M.O.V.P.E.R), or GROTTO as they are known.

The Grotto is a Masonic social organization. Although it is primarily an organization for good wholesome fun and frolic, it also has its serious side. Its slogan is “Good Fellowship.”

The Grotto raises tens of thousands of dollars every year to fund dentistry for “Special Smiles” for children with special needs by providing them much-needed dental care. Infinity Lodge donated $300 in support of this “Enchanted Lantern” program.

The Pittsburgh Grotto is actually the largest of all the Grotto chapters internationally.
